My art quilt/experimenting friend Edie Clark pulled up roots and moved to Guemes Island, Washington. There she met quilters wanting to delve into “art” quilts, so we formed the Northwest Challenge Group. About three times/year we develop our “challenges,” each comprised of a theme and a technique. Edie and I are more experienced in this arena, so it’s been fun and rewarding mentoring, creating together and watching our friends’ skills and confidence increasing with each project. My art and life has been enriched as well. Here's a sampling of my contributions.
