Introduction
 

My husband, Ralph, and I became a part of the San Luis Obispo (SLO), California community in 1972, raising our family and making SLO our home base for our international travel adventures, most of which are camping trips. These travels have influenced my art as well as our view of our world. We savor these memories and have embraced the people, their cultures and histories. We are One People, in spite of what politics and governments espouse.
 

Quite often nature is the guide that feeds our souls. Enjoying outdoor adventures at home is fun, but swimming with dolphins in the Mariana Trench, hiking up Mt. Blanc, tromping on glaciers in Patagonia, climbing the stairs of the Acropolis, cycling in the Alps--these are memories to treasure for a lifetime.
 

As a self-trained mixed-media textile artist, I find great joy and personal fulfillment in sharing my thought-provoking, color-bursting and other-worldly works of art. My wish is that they transport you to another time or place--real or imagined--make you smile, and dream and wonder. If my art makes you go “Hmmm,” then I’ve done my job and I am glad.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of being a part of the local quilting community and then evolving into textile and mixed media art. I've shown my work for many years in the annual Pacific International Quilt Festival, Seven Sisters Quilt Show, Beacon Art Show, Studios on the Park, Gallery at Marina Square, Art Central Gallery, Art In the Garden, Morro Bay Art Gallery, Albuquerque Fiber Arts Council and in international traveling shows.
